No I'm not in one specific region! But Bulgaria is a option we are looking into at the moment.

Sudesh, if you need help flying the Bell, or whatever replaces it, drop me a line.

Where in good old N.I. are you?

Don

Sudesh- have you looked into a Dauphin http://www.military.ie/images/dauphin.jpg

Or if that's not big enough and you have the need to throw lots of pounds around...maybe a used Sikorsky S-70?
http://avionesyhelicopteros.ar.tripo...scidencial.jpg

I've got a couple hundred hours in the Blackhawk, which is the US Army version of the S-70 so I'm biased towards that one. I've done 2 sorties in the Maryland State Police Dauphin II and May not be a big enough step up from the 222 but that is a nice bird!

Think about all the moving parts in the engine of your BMW, multiply it by 10 and add 2 more hydraulic systems into the mix besides just brakes and almost as much electrical wire as in your average home.

Every single bolt/screw must be cotter pinned or safety wired because of the intense vibrations of rotary flight.

Most advanced civilian mechanics and technical inspectors live in very large houses if you know what I mean
