Question T-Mobile RAZR being used on CINGULAR..

Hello guys, i have CINGULAR, recently came across a free RAZR phone, unlocked, put in my SIM card and im working.
However, i just noticed yesterday i can receive TEXT messages, but i cant send them out, nor images/videos. Called CINGULAR, they said it is because in need to change the WEB SETTINGS on the phone to CINGULARs server and so on., however, they wont help, i found some procedures on line, but they say i need to UNLOCK the web settings (i guess this is different than unlucking the phone).

Ideas..?

I did the same thing with the SLVR and used it on Tmobile, I took it to a vendor who did 3rd party phones and the re-did the software, certain stuff will not work because it is registered software (mine always said "cingular") but It should work

I have done with an unlocked phone to T-mobile. They sent a message with settings to my Razr and it installed the settings when I opened it, and all was good. Cingular should do the same.

Cingular tried to walk me thru it, however, even though the phone is the same, the software is different, and i guess i need to get into an icon called WEB SETTINGS, which TMOBILE locks and is not even visible, and a CINGULAR RAZR does have, so when we get to this point CINGULAR says, sorry. (somewhat understandable...)
Again, the phone itself works, just not able to send/rcv text/pix/video.
