The reason I ask....I know wet snow melts in to slush and invariably freezes. But the first time I experienced the dry, powdery snow was not fun. It was a cold, 23F midday and my mom was taking my friend and I to someone's house. Cars were doing 360s on the highway and the X3 was sliding around like a slithering snake.  |
For me dry snow is easier because i know what i'm driving on and I can expect a certain type of traction, wet snow tougher because you can't always tell if roads are wet or it's black ice, plus the slush just throws you around.
