It's tough to say. I can understand Alpina22's point completely. He pays a lot of $$$ to bimmerfest (and other forums) for advertising his product. When Dave responds to a post with some marketing than its kind of borderline.
Just drop it, its not worth getting into an arguement about...

Whether he's right or wrong, my take is that it's not his place to police the boards and pass out his little warnings. There are designated admins and mods on Bimmerfest that are fully capable of keeping order there.
