That's very cool. I would have used the installer's car for the first lift.

Awesome job.... Is that top porsche tilting a little? Is that normal?

Two very nice cars. I just would be worried about the top one that is tilted.

Very nice!

How tall is your garage? Works great for 2 low profile coupes.

I just noticed that the middle of the lift tray is open... I'm not so sure I'ld be happy with that, what if the top car has a fluid leak, even if it's a small fluid leak?

Thanks everyone...

To answer some questions,
1) Gresch, the middle of the lift tray can be open if the panels are pulled out. When they installed it, it was kept open so they can manuever around and underneath. When they finished, they installed the "drip" trays. So, the middle is now closed... (but lets just say you wanted to do an oil change, you could by removing the three middle trays.)

SG,
The second 911 is now a shared car. It was my original 911 that I bought about 6 years ago. My brother is now my partner on the car and it is our track workhorse. We are going to add a roll bar and some seats to it this year. That's one of the reasons I bought the 997TT. WIth the suspension, sport flywheel/clutch, etc. the older 911 doesn't make for a wonderful street car in Los Angeles.. But it's a fantastic track car.

As far as the tilt is concerned, you are not mistaken, THERE IS A TILT. But it is entirely safe and within the specs of the manufacturer. I wish it were a little more straight to be honest, just for aesthetic reasons, but it is what it is.. It is also rock solid and no way the car is going to tip it over. It's rated for 6000lbs.

Oh, and ceiling height..

My garage has 3 bays. The ceiling is the same height in all three bays but the floor has a step down for each bay that goes with the contour of the house (built onto a hill.)
I believe i have about 11 ft. in the lowest bay.. It was the only bay that could fit the lift. The other two do not have the ceiling clearance for two cars.
