Car goes UP, car goes Down. Car goes UP, car goes down. Repeat

Hey all,

So I thought I would share some pictures of my recent home mod..

Here is the garage bay, empty and waiting.

Another view, straight on.

Then, THE ARRIVAL

The unpack and offload

Then, the install

The moment of TRUTH

And for some extra protection, I had them install a "toggle bar" that if the roof of a car hits it, it automatically shuts down the lift from being able to rise higher. Basically, it's an idiot bar that will prevent me from putting a Pcar into my living room above.

All and all, I am very happy with the install and feel it was a good value. The total job was about $5K including: pick up, install and some custom work i added to make the job perfect.
-Oh, I also paid about $700 for an electrician to run a 220v to the unit.

Unfortunately, I had a small problem with it today, something with the hydralic house went bad and fluid is leaking all over my garage floor. The installers came out immediately to inspect it and are fixing it tomorrow.

The job took about 10-12 hrs. And the guys in the picture did a good job. I would use them again.

Next I am going to paint the walls and do some type of flooring.

B

I would have been biting my nails big time during the first lift. You had to be a bit nervous...
I'm surprised they don't have some type of stop mechanism so you don't put the P-Car in the living room.

ENJOY! Pretty cool.
