No way, I would drive my RR on that road. Or Land Cruiser, Benz G-wagon (G500), Jeep Rubicon. All vehicles equipped with appropriate tires of course.
That mud looks deep. Hell you might night a Unimog or Pinzgauers or a Halflinger to get thru that. Could probably make some serious coin with a tractor and rope there just towing people out and around. Last edited by cue03; 12-20-2006 at 05:59 PM.

There is a link on the bottom of the page that Kewl provided, referencing heavy equipment that hasn't been kept shiny side up. Four of the photos look very much like ones I encountered at work (the crane bisecting the overpass, ours was a D10R with the ripper shank inverted for shipping, and fully raised; the tracked excavator sunk in the reclamation pond; the 793B truck parked on the welding service truck; and truck 48, a 777 that backed over a highwall, whereas ours was a 793 240 ton truck that drove over the edge and was vertical when it hit the pit floor. http://thrillingwonder.blogspot.com/...crobatics.html Another link, been around for awhile, showing a bucket wheel excavator in Germany that scooped up a D8 http://thrillingwonder.blogspot.com/...-machines.html

That first one, the road to Yakutsk, looks only slightly worse than my road in spring/winter. The sad part is, it's true.
 Our road almost completely washes out once a month. In the spring when the snow melts, it's so muddy that you can barely drive on it. I'm talking 4+ inch deep mud..
