4 door concept from Ford based on the Mustang.

I guess Ford is trying to offer competition to the 300C....

They're going after the Chrysler 4 doors with Hemi's, and the Impala SS.

I wouldn't be surprised if they take a small bite out of the Caddy CTS, STS and V series'.

one other thing, the new Malibu is being unveiled at the Detroit Auto show. Supposedly it's a huge improvement in fit/finish/styling and materials.

I hope it is, GM could use the business, and what's good for GM is good for the country

Agreed, but I still wouldn't want to own another one of their vehicles. Unless it was a Yukon or Surburban or one of the other 23 vehicles built on that platform.

I think it's a great looking car hopefully the build quality is there. I've always wondered why concepts seem so different than the final production versions - anybody know?

pssst, it's an american car, designed for the masses, not the upper 5% of the worlds' more wealthy as*most* BMW "owners" are (and i say "owners" because the vast majority of BMW's are leased)

Don't be a car-snob, check out jd power reliability study, bmw isn't at the top btw... not even close.
