That fumble recovery by the Beags, late...there was hope, but it was
fleeting. Did anyone on the O Line block or is the D Line of NO that good?

Well, the Iggs got games further than they expected. It will be interesting
to see Garcia's agent go to work on his free agency.

Andy needs to get off the cheese steaks and Prozac and show some
enthusiasm and courge, imo.
Tired today; these games start too late and go too long.

That was a dumb move. In fact, I was already flashing back to the 4 and 26 against the Packers.

Then again, I'm a Giants fan so I'm glad your sorry Eagles are out of it. You guys overachieved anyway.

Aww overachieved, I guess 8-8 is pretty good...sounds like an upset Giants fan to me....

Don't be too sad, eventually under Coughlins solid leadership and with no rusher..NY should easily win the division next year

Running backs are a dime a dozen, as long as you've got an offensive line. Manning on the other hand, not sure he's the real deal. But at least he doesn't throw up in the huddle.

As for the Giants, 8-8 was a disappointment since they were 6-2 and up on the choke prone Bears for at least a 1/2. In regards to Coughln, who else could they hire that's better? Gotta live with him.

Coughln is a plague on NY...you can't have an entire locker room that hates the coach...and NY will be lucky if it find a back half as good as Tiki to replace him. Eli is utterly horrible. Plexico was open in the end zone a dozen times against the Iggles and Eli was busy trying to grow chest hair. NY needs to cut some losses. As for the Iggles puking QB, Guinness and I have already discussed him. NY and Washington will be playing second fiddle to Dallas and Philly for a couple more years to come IMO.

bad bad call imo
in the nfl - and college they have statisticians working for the coaching staff. they are often called "quality control" coaches. the probability of converting a 4th and 15 in your own territiry, on the road, is simply less than the probability of punting and playing defense. no one would be asking this question if the eagles defense simply stopped the saints from running the ball. everyone knew exactly what they were going to do - run-the-ball. AND, the eagles had 2 timeouts left. that is a world of time with such a potent offense. all they had to do was stop deuce mcallister.

the eagles loss had NOTHING to do with punting on 4th and 15.

It was a GREAT game last night and the Eagles gave us an awesome season. Many thought we were finished when McNabb was hurt (even though he was struggling before his season ending injury).

We just couldn't stop the offense last night. And more importantly, I don't understand Reid's decision to punt the ball late in the 4th qtr.

I'm done now...

Reid's decision was wrong and lost them a chance to win the game. They went for it on 4th and 10, so why not 4th and 15? The defense hadn't stopped Deuce all day. If the Saints gave him the ball more, he woulda ran for 200 yds+. I couldn't believe a pass happy coach like Reid didn't go for it b/c they made a lot of big plays throughout the year. also, you don't know that the Saints woulda just run the ball although conventional wisdom would lead you believe they would have. Sean Payton's team led the NFL in passing and may have called for a pass if necessary. They also knew that a 1st down puts it out of reach. Reid even second guessed himself afterwards in the press conference. He'll be crucified all offseason for that decision with many calling for his head.
