Search for a program called PodPlus. It allows you to upload any tunes on your ipod to a computer with the program installed, including those bought through itunes.... great for getting songs off your 'other' ipods.....

Install it on your new comp then away you go..

also ipodcopy, podutility etc....

Cheers

John

You can try Apple iPod tech support 1-800-275-2273...I called then when I had a problem with my hard drive and they walked me through saving the library and copying it back to my hard drive. They may be able to provide some help.

If you are using iTunes 7 (as Joel already mentioned) you can transfer songs which reside on your iPOD onto another authorized computer :

To "reverse" sync your songs from an iPOD onto another computer perform the
following steps :

- Install the version of iTunes 7 and iPod software
- Now authorize the "new" computer by choosing
"Authorize Computer" from the "Store menu" in iTunes
- Connect your iPod to the newly authorized computer
- From the "File" menu, choose "Transfer Purchases from iPod"

This should resync all songs from your iPOD onto the new computer
You can have up to 5 authorized computers for the same account.

Hth,

Jan

How about a program that converts MP3 to MP4 and MP4 to MP3?
