LOL.. u said it! Thread hijack. BTW.. u wanna here something funny. This will kill you! so we got a customer who was big into DR I keep telling them they need an application server at the DR site for true DR in a failover situation right. They kept pushing back and said they don't understand why and that I was wrong. OK sure. So anyways, the data center in the bay area had a "foam" mishap taking down the entire site. Well, they got their data at the DR site. They called me to ask how they could bring it back up cuz they can't get to it. I said you got exchange in NYC? and they said "No". well then you're f'ed buddy. Your only application is on the other side. So guess what.. all hell's breaking loose since they are pissed that "we didn't clearly explain this to them".. hahahaha.. IDIOT. Such is the life a IT/DR/BC consultant.

unbelievable......



we're updating the NSF sw and firmware on our celerra next saturday so that we can reconfig the sym, your boys won't touch the sym without the latest greatest.... i love dropping almost every app on a saturday... but hey! I'll be at the Sundace film festival in SLC, what do i care ? my guys and yours will do a bang-up job.
