Mac users? Question..

I just discovered tonight that I have a .Mac account that I activated when I got the computer about 14 months ago. I never really used it, but tonight I was poking around on there. Other than a place to host photos, what other cool features does it have?

I like the online hard drive that can be accessed by other mac and online. There is even a utility that will let you mount the drive as a network drive on xp machines. There is email and some others but i just use the online hard drive.

Pictures, videos, iDisk (as Derek described), store your Safari bookmarks, contacts (from Adress Book), and calendar (from iCal). Also, with iWeb, you build websites in literally minutes.

Thanks, Juan! I'm going to fool around with it a little bit and see what I can do.

.mac is THE BEST!!! I have been using it for years. I NEVER get junk mail. You can make your own web page and post it and like everthing mac it is super user friendly. Once your free year is up it costs $104 a year but it is well worth it. I have had both comcast and roadrunner and I stopped using their email because of all the junk mail I would get. Play with your .mac account - guaranteed you will love it! Oh yeah, and your email address will be [email protected] - how easy to remember is that? Congrats on your find!

A lot of mac user nowadays I have been using Mac since OS 6.5 or 6.2. Anyway, I use them for long time. Of course, I am using mac and window. There is some software that need to be run on window. Well, it might change pretty soon when apple release new OS this year. I have to look how that will work because this software needs good networking system that talks each other. I think apple can pull this thing together very well. What do you guys think about iPhone? Do you have plan to get one? I do have plan to get one but I have to wait until my contract ends. I wish that apple will release unlocked version of iPhone. I still have first mac that apple released. One of my friend gave to me as gift Believe or not it still works. I just have to find mouse or keyboard, I do have both of them but one of them is not working, and I don't want to take a part because it was gift.
