My baby is back!

I picked my car up at the dealer this evening after it was there for two days for some work. Some minor work, which ended up totaling $1758 ... We've honestly spent about half the price we paid for the car in various repairs!
I had a new windshield put in, because I had a huge crack across it courtesy of a gigantic rock on Autoroute 15 south of Montreal. I also had a set of snow tires put on, replacing my worthless ContiWinterContacts. They put on Nokian Hakkapeliitta RSi tires. Very nice! They have a cool-looking tread and offer great grip in the snow, from a little testing I did tonight on an un-sanded back road. They also put in a new seat belt buckle, because mine tended to not latch. They adjusted the parking brake. I had a problem with the gearshift, but they didn't fix it. It wasn't anything big, and it would be $1200 to fix and would require taking the whole gearbox out of the car.. Not worth it for a car I'll only have for a few more months. Anyways, I'm glad to have my car back!

Ahhh yes. Our lovely autoroute 15 how i love her so. Sorry to hear she wasn't any good to you. That bitch!

I've been through about 4 windshields in 3 years thanks to the gigantic rocks falling from the sky on our autoroutes.

Anyways congrats on getting your car back.
