Yeah, a little cherpie. I think they have a current upgrade to help with the sensitivity.
Around $75.00.

At the risk of jinxing myself, I haven't gotten a speeding ticket yet. Are you guys driving too fast? Or do I need to start driving faster?

I've never used a radar detector. The wire-hanging-down look of the power adapter looks bad, and if I were to be caught, I wouldn't want the cops to see that I have a detector. Haven't gotten a ticket in years.

The V1 is the way to go. I've got the latest software that has fixed the over sesitivity....a little is good however. No tickets & 100% early detection.

As for the dangling pwr cord, one of V1's features is the concealed display that can me mounted anywhere. Combine that with the hard wire option and it's about as stealth as you can get (I've got both).

I hardwired the V1 and purposely left very little dangling cord, maybe 2''. I can also neatly tuck the cord if needed back into the headliner so that it can't be seen. I definitely don't see this as a major obstacle.

The V1 (or any other radar detector, for that matter) can be hard-wired -- you won't see any wires dangling.

I have a lead foot, so for me, it's a life-saver. I cannot tell you how many times, this thing has saved my a$$.

How about the Beltronics Bel Sti Driver? This seams to be a new comer and a very good one (see below). Can be bought new for around $400 on ebay. Anybody on this board has one? I am now hesitating between the V1 and this one.
