I'm on my fourth Escort detector. Been using them for decades. My newest one is only 6 months old, but I'm disappointed in it. It has a real problem with laser falsing within 2 miles of any commercial airport. So essentially it's useless during that part of my commute. The V1 *may* have a similar problem, although it looks like they may have found a way around it.
Here's a good site for more info on all detectors.

The arrows are well worth the price. Can't remembered the number of times I've been saved by it. Only complaint is that it is a bit too sensitive. My V1 (in advanced logic mode) detects Ka band over 3 miles away in the city!

how are you wholesaling them? valentine is very specific that only they will be distributing the V1 and no one else. I would also like to know how the V1's over rated. It works and it work better than even the high end Escorts/Bels etc that I've tried.

Alain,
The extra $150 you spend on the V1 will pay for itself quickly. I had two tickets before the V1 some three years ago. None since then; it has saved me countless of times. It's well worth the money! Juan

I agree that the V1 is great. No tickets since I've gotten it. The arrows are great and the V1 software is easily upgradeable anytime in the future.
