I don't mind this cold at all. My body's like an idiot and can't tell the difference between 35F, 25F, and 15F. Under 40F, my body just says "its cold" no matter how freezing it gets.

Plus, I never really spend more than 45 seconds outside, walking from my car to school.

Try walking across Midtown manhattan at 7:30 a.m. or 6:30 pm from Madison to 8th, you're body will smarten up IMMEDIATELY....

and I thought it was cold here in Florida. It's in the 50's in the morning and night but during the daytime it gets in the 60's. That's warm compared to what you guys are going through.

With heated seats and wheel the car was ok within about 5 mins ( driving nice and easy). I think this is the preferred method to warm up the car.

I give the X3 about 30-40 secs to settle down before starting off in the morning. Heated steering wheel + heated seats are a boon, especially the former because it heats up quickly. Plus the X3 is garaged, so it aint too bad.

Now, normally I drive the Lexus ES, which I give a minute to warm up because it idles so freakin' high. It's usually 1750rpm when I bring it outta our garage, but after being parked all afternoon outside the dealership today, it was idling 1850rpm

It's freezing here. -4 in my garage this morning when I started the car. Right now it's +3F, with the wind chill it must be -15 or so. I had to pump gas tonight on the way home and I thought I was going to freeze to the pump.
