That thing is HUGE!!! I saw the QE2 in Bar Harbor last year, and you're right, it doesn't even come close to that behemoth.

Thanks Barry for the photos. I didn't get a chance to see it, but heard that it cleared the Golden Gate Bridge by only 30 feet. Must have been quite a sight.

I think so - the news had film of it passing under the Golden Gate. That'd been pretty crazy to be going over the bridge at that time! I'd have gotten in a wreck trying to rubberneck the QM2!

But it's no longer the largest ship. Royal Carribean decided they needed a bigger ship.(It's not as impressive, though) Who knows what they're thinking.
