The NSX has always been considered an exotic. Unless, Toyota goes crazy with this Supra it'll never be in that league.

Regarding this underpowered buisness, it runs 0-60 in 4.8s with a V6 putting out 290hp. That's still respectable acceleration.

Why the phuck Honda would do this is beyond me. Turn a perfectly good car into a GT by going from MR to front-engine and giving it a long ass hood and AWD.

As far as Honda goes, I'm done with them. I will continue to cherish my 98 Prelude Type-SH and drive it for years to come, but will not personally buy any vehicle of theirs produced after 2001. While my discontent with BMW exits, it is not nearly as severly; and isn't really relevant since I can't afford to buy any. And I can only influence my parents' pruchases so much lol.

Yes the NSX was a true highend sports car sound like they are going mass market this time.

You are right, the 2007 model Porsche is all of 0.3sec faster than the NSX.

given the Veryon does 0-60 in 2.8
and an x5 4.6 is does it in 5 flat

I would say in a spread of only 2.2 seconds from Suv to the fastst car in the world .3 is fairly signifigant not to metion the better cornering abilities carried in todays upper eschelon sports cars

a little birdie told me...

Was mentioned to me by a employee of an acura dealer that the RSX will be returning in 2008/9 as a 250hp+ SHAWD platform

Hope he wasn't lying!

RSX is being cut from the Acura line. It's been official for sometime now. I'd expect a TSX coupe in the future. The return of the CL is rumored too.

While I understand your fondness for the NSX, it had it's share of problems, like burning through tires every 5k miles...

Yea, it's had problems, but which car hasn't..and I've never heard of this tire thing as problem. We both know that tire wear is solely dependent on alignment and driving characterisitcs.

The only major problem was with some 91 and 92s, a snap ring in the trans would wear prematurely.

The NSX is known for it's reliability like every other Honda. In it's league, I'd confidently say it's the most reliable car.
