Time to boast about myCEO again:
As some of you know she got into fabric art and
art quilting about 3 years ago and her design degree
and sewing skills have made her very accomplished in
a very short time. She's won a few competitions, gotten
some pieces into some world class juried shows and
has become somewhat regionally well known. And, she
is doing a lot of commission work for people.

She joined 2 Quilt Guilds here in SW FL, and this past
week, the Naples Guild, (a bunch of much older, very
traditional artists & pretty fookin stuffy, imo), had their
annual juried show. 4 pieces of work per person, so VZ
entered 4 works, 1 of which was a new commissioned
piece.

TheCEO won 5 awards on her 4 quilts:
-1st place, Best large bed quilt and 1st Best Machine work
-1 Best of Show, large pieced work
-and 2 Honorable Mentions on 2 other pieces!

The judge, was an int'l fabric artist xpert, from NJ;
not one of the nose-up old bags in this guild.

A couple of these you've seen before, but the pics are
from yesterday at the foo foo Naples Ol'Biddies Guild Show.
I am very, very proud of her!

The pics, from my lil'Canon S50, don't do the works
justice, as it was packed and tightly confined...
