Actually here is something that I thought was strange.

Moved from the Milwaukee metro area back to Iowa. My insurance actually went up. Talked with my agent and he said that, yes it normally goes down moving from that location to where I am at now, but since I moved states that I basically have to "start over" again with a good driving record etc. and that it would take about 2 years.

Anyone ever heard of this??

Well alot of times tickets etc, don't go on your record in foreign states unless their "linked" so it makes sense to me, they dunno if your a good driver or not

yes there is one based here in DM...Iowa Chapter of the BMW CCA as far as I know they don't have thier own website...
