Michelle - google your cellphone number and see what comes up. If it shows, you should see if you can get it deleted. Maybe even change your cell number. Once you starting getting this crap, it never goes away.

These people are probably spammers who are harvesting information off the internet. Spam comes in every form these days. SMS text messaging is their newest frontier.

used by deaf people to communicate with normal people. If you have aim, send a message saying "call 1-xxx-xxx-xxx" (x= person's number) to :
"iprelay"
and an operator (usually in Minnesota), translates what you type on your computer to voice. they HAVE to say what ever you type.
