VW GTI or Audi A4?

Hello,

my brother is in search for new car,
he wants A4 2.0T, but I want GTI 4dr (well, it's not for me but it seems fun to drive! )
what would you guys pick? and reason?

my friend has a rabbit, and that is a nice car..i would think even more so with the gti. the gti has the style and got-to-have-it factor (car of the year!...according to automobile)

the A4 is a nice car, but it's becoming outdated fast. it does provide luxury, but there's so many mods you can do to a gti

or go half-way and get an A3 redline

yeah, i'm not sure about that much...at bmwsf, they have sooooooo many 3s, but they're not discounting them that much...but it's different at each dealership...

Don't get an A4, for the simple reason that the new model will be out in about a years time.

It always sucks when you drive around a new car, only to have it outdated in a couple of months by an entirely new car...

GTI is a nice car. Can't go wrong with that. Or the A3 as someone suggested...

the A3 is a nice car, but it is frumpy-looking. i'd go with the gti...and mod it to be more unique (there are soooo many, i see more gtis than rabbits)
