I have a coworker who's one of his wide receivers at San Jose State.. although he has happy feet and likes to scramble all over the place especially on naked bootlegs, we both agree that he's still a great quarterback.. I hope the raiders pick him up...

I assume they thought they couldn't re-sign him, since he's probably played well enough to get a starting job somewhere else. To keep him at backup you'd have to pay some kind of premium, and he said he was eager to figure out what he was worth.

I like Kearse and think he's a benefit to the defense. They played alright with him out this year, but I think they play better with him. I know we have our differences on that one and the McNabb debate, but this whole signing Feeley thing is just dumb. Papers are saying it was the "smarter" move because Feely is younger talent and they feel he would have been able to do the same job Garcia did had he had to pick up the slack when McNabb went down. They also feel Garcia can be a starter somewhere and don't want to pay what he would ask to be a backup. Idiots! Garcia's agent said they never even made an offer, just laid out some initial plans which weren't really anything to talk about... then he never heard from them again. Sounds very familiar with what they did to White. Never even made a damn offer.
