That's a steal! I'll take two and connect them to make one Super House!

Yeah, I know, the California real estate market is ridiculous. It is OVERPRICED!

It's the equivalent of spending money of a high end BMW M model or Mercedes AMG model, but getting a Toyota Camry (a nice car, but not worth $80-120K).

My friend just his house @ the Atlanta suburbs with 1 acre of land, 4200 sq. ft. (not counting the 1800 sq. ft. finished basement), all the options (crown moulding, granite, etc.) and fully landscaped front and back for $600K.

Plus, tract homes in CA are built like crap (they won't last for a long time).

Heck, at Irvine, they are building high rises because 1 acre of land in Irvine goes for $3 million.

How much would something like this cost in CA, folks? We just drove by this mansion yesterday and I thought it looked nice:

depends where in Cali. of course..

Van Nuys is not going to cost you the same as Beverly Hills..
But then again, in Beverly Hills, your neighbors won't be shooting porn !
And you can probably but that place in AZUSA for a lot lot lot lot less than Pornucopia..
