It's not like it would make gas more affordable here. It would only make wealthy oil companies wealthier. Screw them! Keep the blood sucking leeches out!

Not that I think Castro is a great guy or anything. But I do believe times have change quite a bit and would like to open up to trading, tourism etc.

I'm not in favor of making an exemption for oil, let's either move forward with everything and try to improve relations across the board - or stay on course (which I don't like).

Yeah, but if you lift it now, everyone will yell and scream saying it's all about oil. Well, duh, yeah... it would be. Point is, lose lose situation.

Either way, it's not the damn 60s anymore, communism sucks, just lift the damn thing regardless.
