I am interested on how the critics are going to judge it. There was a special on the Histor channel last night for a couple of hours. I forgot all about this stuff in western civ the special was very detailed and informative.

Lets not forget that this is adapted from a graphic novel so some things like the body armor the Spartans wore is dropped in favor of ABs

in any case,

I'm being taken on a date tonight First some sushi from Wasabi in Fayetteville, then 300 WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo Cannot wait to see this movie, but not as much as I want to see Transformers.

Has anyone ever played God Of War on PS2?? FYI, GOW2 comes out next tuesday.... anyway, rumor has it there WILL be a movie version starting Kratos. I think 300 gives an idea of what a God Of War movie can be like

We all know that we are looking for abit of excapism here, I want the troops home as well.

I thought it was excellent. It was set up as a rallying tale told to troops before going into battle and the visuals and the style of the movie really appealed to me.

Being a quarter Greek and all, I'm glad this kind of story can be told now with the advances in filmmaking recently and it won't look like something out of the '70's. Oh, and the actress who plays Gorgo, Lena Headey, is fine as a muh fucka!
