It is just another way for the police to better remember you plate and for aquaintances to know you are at the bar at 2pm on a tuesday...I dont need that give me the anonimity of three random letters and numbers anyday

You dont need and SLR and you dont need to be on the track...My SL55 smacks M3s around like hoes all day long

Exactly. I used to have my initials on my license plate, because I thought it was a nice way to personalize the car. You eventually realize, though, that you're making yourself easier to identify (which may not be a good thing, depending on how you drive), and in my case, I had my initials on my plate.. Not really something I liked advertising to all the other people on the road. I traded the plate in for a regular NH plate with 7 numbers. I ended up with a nice sounding combination of numbers, and I'm happy with that!
