The new S class interior... A little bit of BMW influence maybe?...http://www.xoutpost.com/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=5

hmmm.... you know, I can't recall a Benz without a continuous center console... that almolst looks like a Buick interior, does it not? I'd have to see in person, I guess, but that picture is not very impressive.

Exactly my thought. That is a seriously Buick-like dash. And I see they have copied the 7-series' compartments under teh vents, but BMW's are in wood, not gray plastic!

I don't like the fact that dashes are getting so plain and boring..

I love having buttons, radio, climate...

Why take that stuff away??

Funny an operations manager for General Motors said nearly the same thing. With this rush to push technology in cars the fun is being taken away as well as the drivers knowledge of "what" exactly is going on. More is always better....unless its horsepower

I love buttons as well. I love how my X5 has all the buttons on the dash. I wish they would keep them. It looks way to boring without them. It is much easier to push a button on the dash instead of going through a computer. My mom's new landcruiser has a lot of buttons and it looks fine to me.

the last thing i want running my car is a computer GUI based operating system, if it's anything like Windows I'ld be pretty damn concerned that the friggin car would "blue screen" or "crash" while doing 65MPH on a highway, or worse yet, unexpectedly and randomly break down requiring a call to tech support, errrr, i mean the dealer.
