Newsworthy maybe because a segment of the public gets a big ass grin across their face when they find out that celebrities sometimes get treated like an M-Effer like the rest of us. Another pretty large slice of the pie are the Oprah fans who are livid that their lord and savior got "mistreated".
Sad to say, anyone of us sneezes, who cares? Tom Cruise, Oprah, or the Prez does it, it's news. Edward R. Murrow is spinning like a supercharger in his grave. JV

Today the DMV didn't let me in. they close at 5pm and I got there at 5:02pm.. But I know they only didn't let me in because I am jewish !!  Give me a freaking break ! B

I'm with you, PNG... that is not news-worthy, and it can be filed, in the "Who gives a crap" bin. Our kids are dying in the middle east, and we have some REAL problems in this country. That Oprah was not allowed in a Hermes store during after-hours is of SO little significance....
