What is it with Mercedes Benz and Silver?

Am I the only one that thinks Mercedes Benz come in SILVER? Looking at pre-owned and all there exists in every model and trim is shiny silver. With so many choices out there offered by the company I bet 80% of theirs are you know what.

I asked my Mercedes salesman about that once. He said the MB research showed it was the best-selling, and had the best resale value, of all their colors. I would prefer a different color, just so I am not like everyone else.

Yea, when I picture/imagine a Mercedes, it's always in silver. Personally when I build the MB's online (rare, but does happen), I pick other colors too. Capri Blue Metallic w/Gray leather for E500 anyone?

Not surprised, and after that is Black I am sure.

But I also feel that BMW could be the same way. I see so many silver bimmers. At least there are more colors to balance them out.

And cant forget about silver Audis....lord....

Actually, when someone says "Audi" I always picture a red A4. Maybe it's just me.

And driverX5, I think it's the S550 now. Get with the times. Which by the way, I'll take with Black Opal Metallic (a dark gray) and Black leather. Or if I really had cash to burn, the Mystic White designo color package thingy.
