Formula One: Traction Control banned for 2008
I'm really not for such bans since, even though it makes the sport more competitive, the end (most important) result is negative: less amount of advanced technology takes longer to makes it to the streets. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/57702 |

Why do they gotta all of a sudden be so super-restrictive. I know they're trying to level the playing field, but it's also kinda cool to see how each team can come up with its own unique technologies to enhance performance.
First it was the limit on engine size (V10 down to V8), then the tires (one supplier, Bridgestone), and now this. |

It might make for better drivers otherwise when one is accelerating u can just put the gas pedal to the floor without worrying about the consequences..Driving a high hp car without traction control allows much more respect for the car and the danger that goes along with it if u're not focused.

This young lady should have kept her traction control on. High hp car with no traction control, cold tires , cold pavement.
