Sounds like he went for a "sit down", wound up on the wrong end of a beating and tried to cover it up with a car accident.

He was in the wrong place, fate-wise...
shoulda be in Trenton, leaning on the
law school drop out reps and senators that comprise the
NJ legislature; their moto: spend, tax and then, spend more.

I suspect Imus was looking for a face to face meet with the
RU team and the media hogs/ego driven posse showed up in
force, inc. the Gov. What a fiasco. I'd bet JC didn't have his
seatbelt on either. Hope he gets better; no fun getting hurt at our
ages.
