I think its all in fun. Kind of like when someone drives a peice of crap with a bumper sticker that say's "my other car is a ......". I mean come on, they aren't fooling anyone and no one could be stupid enough to think they are....right?

I like how it doesn't fit perfectly, and there is blank space on the sides of the badge

Sorry for the poor quality pic. Used my Treo.

(I still need to figure out how to set up thumbnail pics)
Smiley, just curious, was this taken in Wheaton?

Be on the lookout for the guy with the new body style 5-series with the M5 badge on it, he's also got the chrome trim on the taillights.

Speaking of badges that don't belong on the wrong car.....I was cruzin through ebay looking at X5 and came across a 2000 4.6is....hmm.....so just for fun I emailed the seller and ask what was up. His reply....the previous owner put 20" 4.6 wheels and a 4.6 badge and the tires are really wide so I probably won't like it.......ok, like he know's me or something, but no response to why he was advertising it as a 4.6.

Wow... Someone's going to get a nice surprise if they buy that car sight-unseen....

I am hoping that people do a little research first but with all the stupid people in the world there is a pretty good chance someone will buy it and think they are driving around in a 2000 4.6 (its gold and has no trim kit either)

I was at the Home Depot in Upper Marlboro. They were fully stocked in there. I was impressed (I visited two others on the way that didn't have what I wanted).

I was just at home depot tonight and saw a Bentley. Hmmmm I thought that was weird that Bentley drivers went to Home Depot.
