you all's bitching about the 25 year credit is pointless...here is the deal...cars over that age are primarily considered to be collectors vehicles and hot rods ect which

a. polute lot less then a newer car with malfunctioning emissions equipment

b. are not driven daily (most are not even driven weekly or monthly)

c. a large portion of these vehicles are upgraded with new powerplants that on average meet current emission standards
