BeamerMeet in CT, Aug. 6th...

Bump TTT...

-So, is the 27buck "Spectator ticket" the way that most of
you are going, as opposed to the Registration tix?

I suppose if I had any mods besides a couple dozen coats of Zaino, I'd show it off, too. But, alas, I am modless...

-For those of us sorta planning to attend, is the deal to roll outta there Sat afternoon/early eve, or coop somewhere and depart for "home" on Sunday?

-Jes' trying to get a feel on logistics and Shed U ool, as it's a longazz ride.

-Jan was talking about an X5 or Xcar corral or space?

I realize Juan is on vacay, and my post query mighta gotten overlooked during the 4th Weekend. BR,md

Well I am definately going and have signed up for the "show" ticket.
I am plannin to be in CT Friday evening and depending on how many
folks are staying/coming I might also stay until Sunday.

Haven't heard back from the organizers regarding a X5(world) space but will keep asking

Jan, let me know what time you're driving down.
I'll race you.
Let's see how well your Dinan S2 4.6 does against my Bone Stock 3.0

I'll be there! Also, I'll try and get my dad to give deals to xoutpost.com, and E46fanatics.com members for hotel rooms. We have a Days Inn in Hartford, CT although its about a 40 minute drive to Madison.

What?!?

I wonder why...? Oh well. Unless something comes up, I still plan to be there. It's still a nice time to go up to CT.

A word of caution. That event is no longer called Bimmerfest for a good reason.

Mr. Shafer,
I regretfully must inform you that I have been unsuccessful in recovering my payment for the very disappointing Bimmerfest East. After attempting to contact the organizer through the "Bimmerfest East" website, I have received no reply in just over a weeks time. As a college student and future BMW owner, I believe it was a disgrace to hold such an advertised and much anticipated event without all of the scheduled activities, no representatives from the "Bimmerfest East" group, and no feedback after the event. I would not want their actions to poorly represent your group's name. It's a shame that no one from their website could have offered some sort of reply, $60 is a lot of money to a college student who was only trying to spend some time with his family before going back to school halfway across the country.
Respectfully yours,

Hey, I know you meant that as a joke, but I HAVE (and continue to) offered to host it. Even if we were to get too many people to fit in my house, I can very easily rent my local swim and beach club (a few blocks from my house). It is a beautiful locale on the lake. I can dock my boat right there, too!

Here is a picture of it.

You guys would have to come to the Charlotte, NC area, obviously, but I'd be more than willing AND happy to host an X5 World fest. I mean it!

Juan
