I didn't get to Tate till after lunch today, but still managed to drive every car I wanted to (Hydrogen 7, 750iL, 650i, Z4, Z3, X3, 335i sedan, 550i). Somehow I managed to miss Ryan.

The course was shorter than the one last week at Tischer (13.5 miles vs. 17.5), but who pays attention to that anyways. Tate is right off of Rt 50, so I was able to get the 550i and 650i up to 100mpg

Was never a fan of how the Z cars looked, but damn do they handle well. Really turned around my thought process on getting one to track maybe.

The Hydrogen 7 was really neat; never drove a $50M+ vehicle before!!! However, I was totally un-impressed with its performance. Only 260hp and not much pep. Kinda cool an engineer sits with you the whole way and explains/answers any questions about the technology. Still many years away b4 its commonplace.

The 650i was absolutely phenominal (sp). It handles everything with ease and has power for days. Gotta find $80k somewhere.

The 550i was really nice too and HUD is too cool. Very smooth & powerful V8.

My favorite of the day however was the 750iL. I've never really liked big luxury cars, but this was great. Steering was too soft, but it handles corners easily and accelerates with pep. The iDrive software is much more complicated than the 3/5/X series versions, but I liked it. I've never been a fan of wood in a car, but the 750iL had ACTUAL WOOD trim; not the clear coated stuff all other lines have. It was very stunning and I had to actually knock on it to make sure it was REAL WOOD

It was a great day and I hope everyone else gets a chance to participate.

Yeah I got there at 10am. The 650 was hands down my favorite. Definitely my 545 replacement in a few.

Very nice pics.
X6 will have 4 doors. X6 is little longer than X5. So X6 4 doors will be bigger than X5. Maybe they were talking about X4.
