You don't know much about the military, "live long enough"...hmm in Iraq the US forces have had one of the lowest casualties out of any conflict we've been in, especially any one spanning 'years'. 3500 troops in 4+ years of combat with over 100,000's on the ground....that is not a bad stat at all in warfare.

I love people that, to quote a few good men, rise and fall under the security the military provides and then question its method of providing it.

Again SSgt.......good luck, it is a hard job with todays insanely liberal PC environment (as has reared its head here), but there are still a majority of people that understand your job (just read all the responses).

Hey SSG Santiago...I've got an idea for recruiting. Target the females, just wear a short sleeve uniform shirt and flex those arms. I'd sign.

Thank you, both of you, all of you.

Mod and Admins - Can we please get a salute smilie?

Again Good Luck with that you'll definitely need it to meet retention goals.

Same here...my tour actually ends in about 15 or so days. Anything you need after I get back, let me know and I will get it sent ASAP.

And just want to thank the folks that have "kept me company" while I have been here.

Thanks everyone for your support and know if if you need anything I'll do everything I can to get it. I thought I'd share my unit's page with everyone it has tracked our deployment from day one the good and the bad, it also has links to past operations. again Thanks.

I'm on the far right. I currently run the Personal Security for our Unit's Commander.
