I have the Bel STi...I am very happy. It is a very well made unit.
The only negative is the weight, it is a bit too heavy for the suction cups if you are not careful. I understand these units are hand assembled, and it shows. It has already saved me several tickets. The sti is really designed for truckers with its stealth ability...it comes in a nice case with remote cords, remote speaker and hardwire kit. It does a great job of picking up signals w/ plenty of warning. The 9500 has a novel new feature, GPS logging...seems like a great concept. Either would be a great choice.

No experience with BEL but 9500 is new and have read good things about it so far. I have used Passport 8500 for over 3 years and no complaints. 9500 could only be better.
