We still have until the last Weds of May until we're "really" out (after senior exams). Prom for us is June 1, grad is June 5.
Our school year is drawn out no thanks to the countless holidays in between. I won't mention the ones I think are useless (since that would be not PC of me), but I can tell you, if we got rid of many of the pointless "days off" in the middle of the year, we'd actually be able to start after Labor Day and end in the latter part of May.
