Murphy's law say's Do your level best to park as far away from others as you can and sure enough someone with an old piece of garbage car will park right next to you and there will be 600 other empty parking places nearby . Me and my wife see this often and just scratch our heads in disbelief.

Gresch isn't a moron - he's a great guy!

For five bucks at any auto parts store you can pick up a vavle stem remover. One tire will do the trick. I would like to hang around sometime to see there reaction.

As annoying as people can be damaging other people's property is an easy way to end up in jail. You just never know who's watching. Parking lot cameras???

Loosening the valve stem will only let the air out. No permanent damage done.

There was an incident at the grocery store where we parked the X3 neatly in its spot. When we came out, there was a contractor van parked so badly next to us, I thought it had scratched our car. Worse, it was so close (literally about 3" apart), that we had to wait until the idiot came out of the store and left before we could even get in and drive out.

I think the biggest offenders of this rule are pickup drivers. Now, I don't mind if someone in their massive, oversized pickup needed two spaces and parked at the back. But it's just plain awful when they decide to park in the middle of an already cramped lot, which not only takes up two spaces width-wise, but also protrudes into the normal traffic flow because the tires and load bed are 3x the size of Texas.

Oh and exotic car drivers do this sometimes too. I saw a Ford GT parked diagonal across two spaces on a busy Sat. morning. I was like "whoever drives this has an ego problem........"

Like Vince Vega said, it would be worth it ------- to have someone key my ride (or let the air out of my tires), as long as I can catch him doing it.
