Pretty crazy stuff!! I guess get ready to start packing if they can't get it under control.
We had over 6 million acres in Alaska burn in '04, but of course it never made the news. Had a 600,000 acre fire that made it within 25 miles of town, burned a bunch of houses down. We were sucking smoke all summer long, it was horrible. There would be days were you couldn't see 200 feet away.
