So how do you feel about the UK withdrawing
Gordon Brown our soon to be Prime Minister has pledge to get the troops out of Iraq before the next election. I do hope he keeps his pledge although it won't make me vote for him.

UK has been slowly dwindling in troop support for a while, no big shock they will pull entirely out of Basra. The UK, from what has been noted in the past, have been primarily engaged in one section of Iraq. Unlike US forces which have seemed to spread like a swarm of bees thanks to Bush's constant troop increases.
All I know is Democrats over here said they would pull troops, and caved. A few months back Prince Harry was "..going to Iraq in May, for certain" then of course.." Prince Harry isn't gong to Iraq, it's too dangerous".
