MD/DC/VA area members come on out to the Ultimate Drive!

There's an Ultimate Drive event at FedEx Field in July and should be a lot of fun. They'll have a track set up and we can go whizzing around in the e70

There's also a UDSK too, so if you missed the ones earlier this year, you can drive whatever car you want for a good cause.

For some reason, this event is not on the bmwusa website, so you'll have to call to make a reservation and tell them you didn't get an invitation.

another bump...don't think this is limited to just us locals, so if anyone wants to take a drive here, it should be fun

I called the number up this evening. Unfortunately, they apparently don't have a Teen Driving session set up at all for this event, so I'll miss out . And the only time available was in the morning on Sunday. I'm pretty sure they don't care how punctual you are though...............I dunno my parents may or may not want to do this.

There's also a Susan G. Komen Ultimate Drive going on at the same time I believe. Maybe you can in on that? Earlier this year at Tischer and Tate, I drove the entire fleet (about 12 maybe?) more than 300+ miles. It usually doesn't require a reservation, you just show up, register, and jump in

Hopefully others will come take a few laps around the track?

Iwent to the one in Englishtown(e70 launch) was very good... got a chance to throw the e70 all over the place lots of road courses and Mud hill-steep ones.. ones i wouldn't dare bring my e53 on..lol, also the cherry was the ability to test the other suv's...

one bad thing was they brought every luxury suv..except the new MDX/RDX.. would of luved to throw that around ..

hope the maryland one is just the same..

Woot! I am signed up for the Teen Driver event at FedEx on Sunday morning.

Got a confirmation letter today, despite the fact that when I called 2 days ago the lady said the Teen Driver event wasn't being held. So cool! I get to wake up at 7am on Sunday morning . (It'd better be worth it. That's SO early)
