Exclamation Watch Advice Needed ASAP

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to buy a black faced Breitling Bentley 6.75. It retails for $7590, but for tomorrow only (actually later on today), I can get it for about $5400, almost 29% off. Do any of you watch experts think that this is a good deal? It's from an authorized dealer and comes with a 2 year warranty. Thanks in advance for your advice. Here's a pic of the watch.

That is a very good deal, if you don't take that deal i will. (I have 2 breitlings, 25% off is good, anything close to 30% off is VERY good, especially from an authorized dealer. I'm assuming that the watch is new btw. Congrats, that's a great watch and a great deal.

Thanks bro. It's with a jewelry shop associated with Macy's here in Hawaii, so I'm sure it's new. It's a display watch, but I don't think stores would carry an inventory of those watches.

Did you confirm that they're an AD by checking on Breitllings web site? Also make sure that it has the warranty card and that they stamp it, and they send in the dealer side. You should get a breitling hat in the mail in a few weeks (you know all this, but those are the tell tale signs of being an AD )

That's a great deal on a great watch, congrats!

Here's a link to an eBay article on how to spot fake Brietlings.

All of mine have been purchased through authorized dealers, with full warrenty and paperwork...plus two are limited editions so they come with additional documentation

ok, w/o all the paperwork and documentation, how does one know? is there some sort of tell tale sign that would set it apart?

You can call breitling customer service with the serial # and ask, but you're really taking a chance buying from a non-AD. There are other signs, but I'm no expert and would suggest taking it to an AD to be appraised if possible. It's like buying a diamond ring, unless some expert can appraise it, you're really taking a chance.
