Testing an IPhone

To cut the story short, the note is there but they can't "upgrade" the business account and it has to be a personal account. I said ok what else...so here goes...

1. Made it s a point to tell me there is no MMS or picture messaging
2. No corporate email only personal(yeah?)
3. and the kicker...insurance is not offered by ATT for this phone. Hell they offer insurance for every other phone except this.

Anyways, I think spent or wasted 45 minutes of my life talking to them.

you can say that. I had to go see and "test" what the hype was about.

Few quick comments:

1. Dice works perfectly with the iPhone. Text, sound and all. One time it was a bit buggy but I guess you need to lock the phone and then dock it to the HD-Dice. This is a big bonus

2. The browser access is very good. I could never get to use the web on HTC but this is very much usable.

3. Access to phonebook is ok. Nothing great.

4. voice quality is quiet good.

5. Activation was painless. Nicely done Apple.

The President of my company was playing with safari today on the iPhone, and was very impressed with the way it worked with his EMR.

So he bought one (of 5 that arrived via Fedex) while standing there). Just cancelled my blackberry data plan, and will be provisioning it in 2 hours allowing to avoid the delay in activation.....
