I'm in the North Bay (Sonoma County) which once you pass Marin County becomes a bit more Conservative. It's just easier to say the Bay Area for those who don't know specific locations in California.

Really I should be saying "Wine Country" which is Sonoma County, Mendocino County and Napa County. Problem there is that most associate "Wine Country" as Napa alone.

That said, Conservatives are quiet around these parts.

Hwy 101 into Healdsburg then North to Alexander Valley. Followed by Hwy 128 into Anderson Valley North to Mendocino and the Hwy 1 coast.

That beats Napa hands down. You won't find better wines and a more beautiful drive.

Unless you find yourself in Italy. BTW August is wonderful in this area.

Nothing they said is an opinion or an interpretation. If you think they are liars then just say so. There is nothing slanted about what they wrote. There is nothing "left wing" about what they wrote. Either the sources said what they claim, or it is a big lie.

I'm generally on the hang'em high side of the arm wrestle, (for the bad
guys, that is), but this commutation is so overly frought with "politics"
that it's almost laughable...Dubya's "Justice Dept" is taking the rigorous
position of enforcing/increasing Fed sentencing terms, yet Junior and
his band of genius advisors feel that while the jury's decision was ok,
the sentence was too harsh.

Lil'Scoot was caught up in cover his master's fanny, (the Prince of Darkness),
among other labyrinth efforts and he lied under oath.
Whether that calls for that sentence, whether there was any intelligence "leak",
etc., is sort of beside the point.

I suspect if it was JoeCraptheCitizen who is looking at that sentence, he
might be hard pressed to get his time commuted by the gang that can't
shoot straight, much less talk straight.

Back at the ranch, it is politics and ol'boy network, but that's just one
of the aspects of why I find our current "system" so out of touch and
self serving. I wouldn't spit on any of the politicos, if they were on
fire in my driveway...

Proof? It's called logic...

If a news article is quoting a source, and other than the quotes, they do not give any commentary, then either the article is true, or the writer lied and misquoted the source. Either the source was quoted correctly or they weren't. There is nothing "left" or "right" about that.

So if you are going to dispute that article I posted above, feel free to. But don't say they are "left wing" or something like that. Say that you believe they are liars.

Break it down any way you want. But if sources in the CIA did indeed say what they claim, then the article is true. And if they lied and made up the whole thing, then the article is false. Either you believe one or the other. There is no middle ground here. This article was not an editorial or commentary.
