Okay guys, I want to install a train horn on my X

I've posted the thread on the E53 board, but since I'm here more than anywhere else on this site I want your input. The link to the original thread is HERE.

Here's a vid clip of the horn too

So basically I want to mount this bad boy somewhere inconspicuous and the only thing I can think of is placing a small winshield wiper fluid tank on the other side of the engine bay and trying to squeeze all the equipment to the left of the motor (on an '01 3.0i).

Anyone else have ideas?

Train horns belong on trains. They are obnoxious on road vehicles, and drivers using them should be held accountable for accidents they cause.

Just my $0.02

Your question does not suck less by posting in a different section of the forum...obviously no one here has had this thought...so you will need to find your own location my recommendation would be to remove the fron fender liner and stick it up there as there is space that or infront of the wheel behind the bumper...by the way this is still the stupidest thing I have seen on this forum

Don't be that guy

I also wouldn't mind a more "attention gaining" horn, but then I'm not about to put a Dixie-playing horn on there, either!

Have you tried the Hella red horns? they plug right into the factory wires and really belt out some sound...

lol. Thanks for the advice. I actually have the red Hella air horns on my car already. I plan on keeping them as my regular horn. The train horn is just for fun. I dont really have any intention on using it as I would a regular horn.
