Checked out the Audi S5 today

was in at Audi today having a look at the S5.

OMFG that's some serious motor and the looks the interior <drool> just a shame about the price. Allan was going to ask for a test drive but I said we better not but wish I said yes the guy knew we were not buying.

Think I will go back tomorrow.

Dam tell you this at the moment Audi have wiped the floor with BMW

Audi has certainly done well with their latest models, but I have to challenge your comment that "Audi will wipe...". What BMW's have you had experience with (driven, owned)? You said you didn't even drive the S5 so is your comment just based on opinion sans facts? The RS4 is the only reg. Audi that beats out the 335, both the S4 and S5 lose out straight line and in curves and the 3.2 which should be the comparable car would be smoked. Pretty sad considering the 335 isn't even M/// badged.

I respect to each their own so if you just prefer the S5 that's cool, but them are fightin words on a BMW enthusiast site...

Ok BMW'S I have owned well I have had eight from memory possible more as I do tend buy cars a good bit.

Your right I've not driven it yet but you don't need to drive to know how good it is

style alone wipes the floor with BMW at the moment

sit in one and you will see what I mean. I'm not saying BMW are crap but Audi's are better IMHO. Although in a few years it may all change and BMW ride high at the top.

I've owned 3 Audi's my S2 being the fav (wish I kept that car)

I like the way the S5 looks, and I'd probably take one over a 650i (but not a m6). I was told the A5 is sorta underpowered and not a performer.
Here's a pic of a S5.
