Wink What Song/Songs Really Inspires or Moves You.

Just a nice simple thread. Its about what each of us find moving and / or inspirational in music......We all have a heart and soul, we all have an OPINION!!!..... so PLEASE, Just real honest answers.........You dont have to explain why it's a special song to you;.......... but if you do; its very welcome So I'll start:

Clannad- Harrys Game. This piece of music is something special, and has one of those real moving; shivers down the spine sensations for me. Thats my opinion anyway.

Great "mood" song. Terrific for those times when you're alone and just wanna think. Good for a relaxing drive as well: ATB- Beautiful Worlds. Just released May '07..........gotta listen to the whole thing. The development is great. I've been a big fan of ATB's music; unfortunately his stuff requires a good sound system and some careful listening to appreciate the full complexity.

I'll come up with more later.

I have a couple of favorites in a 1st place tie:

Moanin' by Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers
Killer Joe by Art Farmer and Benny Golson
So What by Miles Davis

Probably songs recogizeable by only a handful here. The rise of jazz and blues in America is possibly music's greatest evolutionary period.

Lately, I have been completely addicted to the song "Heroine" by Lou Reed/The Velvet Underground.
(No, I have never done Heroine..) but there is somthing about the organized chaos in that song that is nothing less than awesome. I have to keep listening to it over and over again..
