Don't waste your money on because it looks like crap on Hd DVD. It is ridiculously grainy and extremely dark throughout the whole movie. I had to bump up all of the contrast and brightness levels on my Sharp LCD and it still looks crappy. I am extremely displeased and really want a refund!

I have the Xbox Hd DVD ass on as well and trust me it isn't the hardware it's the transfer.

um the xbox 360 add-on on mine looks great!! how do u have it set up?? the component?? i have it set up as a VGA.. so i can get 1080P

Well wasn't that impressed with the movie in any resolution... the first 30 mins was kinda cool then it was just consecutive fight scenes...and the little acting that occurred was bloody awful. Big suprise that the hunchback of all hunchbacks came back to double cross the sparta leader..

i must admit tho that i did walk around the house for a few hours afterward spontaneously chanting "sparta, a-oooh, a-oooh" while flexing ..

SO um please done flame me.... what makes Blu Ray so special? I was looking at it, but I can't justify the price...??

Blu-ray uses a storage technique on their DVDs that can store more data than HD dvd. The technology is more costly to produce, hence the price Wikipedia can explain the details much better than I can
